Philanthropy is an idea, event, or action that is done to better humanity and usually involves some sacrifice as opposed to being done for a profit motive. Acts of philanthropy include donating money to a charity, volunteering at a local shelter, or raising money to donate to cancer research. Anyone can be a philanthropist provided their actions or money are used for the good of society. Philanthrophy work in indonesia is done by several communities such as celebrities, government, students and companies.
Celebrities is one of several community that can be philantrophist. There are some things that used to do a celebrity to do charitable activities such as holding charity concerts. Concert was conducted to collect funds from sponsors who sponsored that concert. funds that have been collected, will be donated to the people that affected by disaster. in addition, celebrities to donate some money from his personal bag. As we all know that celebrities would have more money can be donated.
The second community is the government. in fact the government could do more to help the victims of the disaster. Some of which is to build a place of refuge and send rescue or medical team.
